Browse content
Open a content repository and browse its items in either grid or table view, so you can find and open the content you need to work on.
Before you start: sign in so you are on the Dashboard (see Signing in and the Dashboard).
- On the Dashboard, under Content Repositories, click a repository name. The Asset Browser opens with the repository’s content shown as a grid of cards.
- Each card shows a thumbnail (or a type icon), the item’s name, who last edited it and when, its version number with a status color dot, and its type. Archived items carry an amber Archived badge.
- To switch to table view, click the view toggle button at the top right of the content list (its tooltip reads Toggle Table View). The list changes to rows with sortable columns.
- Click the same button again (Toggle Card View) to switch back to the grid.
- Click any item to open it. A detail pane opens beside the list showing the item’s preview and its Metadata pane.
Configure table columns
Section titled “Configure table columns”Table view starts with the Name, Type, Description, Last Edited, and Edited By columns.
- In table view, click the Configure Columns button at the top right of the list. The Columns popup opens.
- Check or uncheck columns to show or hide them. Available system columns include Name, Type, Description, Status, Last Edited, Created, Created By, Edited By, Version, and Slug.
- Drag a checked column up or down to reorder it.
- To add a column for a custom field, use the Custom Fields section at the bottom: pick a content type from the Select a type… dropdown, then check the field you want.
- Click Reset to return to the default columns.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”The content list shows items in your chosen view, and clicking an item opens its detail pane. Your view choice sticks while you work; to change which view every repository opens in by default, set Asset View Layout in your user preferences.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- An item you expect is missing — it may be archived (archived items are hidden by default) or excluded by an active search or filter. Check the chip row above the list and see Filter the content list.
- The list is long — use the search field or the Filters tab instead of scrolling.
